Dispatches from San Francisco: Part 1

I'm in San Francisco this week on a combined business/pleasure trip. It was supposed to be more business than pleasure but a few things fell through and I've found myself with more time on my hands than I expected.

Fortunately, it's a wonderful city to be in with time on your hands and I'm making use of it. Last night, I saw Old Crow Medicine Show play at the Filmore. It was a rousing hootenanny, one for the books. Before that I had lunch at Cha-Ya's, which was the most delicious bit of Vegan Japanese food I've had since the last time I ate there in July.

Social meetings the rest of the week and college visits to Stanford's GSB and the Haas School of Business at Berkeley, followed by the real reason for the trip - NewTeeVee Live! on Thursday. Gasp!

Meanwhile, ArtStreet Miami is running a beta site and back home in Miami things seem to be cooking up something fierce. I'm happy to be here but I can't wait to get back. There's work to be done.
